Postdoctoral Paid Family Leave (PPFL)

Postdocs are entitled to 8 weeks of Postdoctoral Paid Family Leave (PPFL), within one (1) year of birth or placement of the child. PPFL can be used for:

• Bonding with newborn or newly adopted/placed child

• Care for a family member with serious health condition

• Military caregiver

• Qualifying exigency leave

Requests must be submitted at least thirty (30) days in advance. You may view the full Leave of Absences Article 12 for further detail.
