Sick Leave
On October 1 (start of the new Fiscal year) of each year, every Lab Postdoctoral Scholar shall receive 12 sick days in accordance with Article 23 – Sick Leave.
Postdoctoral Scholars hired after October 1, shall receive sick days pro-rated by the number of months less than one year to September 30:
The University shall carry forward any unused sick leave after September 30 of each fiscal year.
If a Postdoctoral Scholar transitions into a different benefited position within the Lab, their sick leave accruals will be pro-rated for the fiscal year and begin accruing on the new sick leave plan.
